Lessons in life- Part 1

So, what is "Life"? We all have our own fabricated versions. Some learn the true meaning of it early on, some when they're octogenarians and well, others, never! The fact remains that one must. It wasn't until my late 20's that I stumbled upon the reality of "Life".

Anger, greed, lust, hatred and jealousy are all human traits. If we learn to control these dire emotions, we've won half the battle.

A single glance at the above imagine will start a series of repercussions in the human brain.
U.S. researchers discovered that the human brain can interpret images that the eye sees in just 13 milliseconds. Let me tell you what I would have felt had I seen this some time back. "Picturesque!", "I love blue, so this is beautiful". That's about it. It's all so quick!
Now, it's as though everything has just slowed down. I try to look at things from a different view. I am cognizant of certain altered feelings. I perceive a sense of tranquility. I notice the pattern of the clouds. I see the vastness of this water body. In essence, I derive a more superior experience.

This sort of adaptation does not happen overnight.
